We have just finished watching Episode Six of Roots – the final episode.

Here is your final blogging assignment of the year:

Think back to the entire series. What theme has made the biggest impression on you over the course of the whole series? Talk about it in detail; give at least three examples of it throughout the movie. Tell why Roots was important to you (if it was) and why next year’s 8th grade class should watch it. Your essay should be of the usual length – 250-1,000 words.
